Van 19 tot en met 24 december organiseert Studio Brussel voor de 3de keer Music For Life. Met een radiomarathon vanuit Het Glazen Huis prikkelen onstuimige Stu Bru presentatoren het publiek om geld in te zamelen voor een goed doel waar Het Rode Kruis zich voor inzet. En Het Glazen Huis staat deze keer ‘op het Zuid’ in Gent, op een boogscheut van Vooruit dus. Wij lopen al warm voor de actie, en zullen ons voor het volle pond inzetten om enkele Music for Life acties te hosten.
From the 19th to the 24th of December, radio station Studio Brussel will organise the third edition of Music For Life. With a radio marathon from Het Glazen Huis (The Glass House) passionate StuBru presenters will stimulate the audience to contribute money for a good cause supported by the Red Cross. The Glass House will be standing on the ‘Zuid’ in Ghent this year, just around the block from Vooruit. We are gearing up for the event and will do everything we can to host a couple of Music For Life events.
Solidair met moeders op de vlucht
Na de ‘vergeten’ drama’s van de landmijnen (2006) en het gebrek aan zuiver drinkwater (2007), staat Music For Life dit jaar in het teken van de moeders op de vlucht voor oorlog en geweld. Miljoenen moeders zonder dak boven hun hoofd, overal ter wereld, van Afghanistan over Afrika tot Colombia. Bekijk meer info van Het Rode Kruis over de problematiek.
Caring for refugee mothers
After giving attention to “forgotten” dramas such as landmines (2006) and the lack of clean drinking water (2007), Music For Life will focus on mothers on the run for war and violence. Millions of mothers without a roof over their heads, all over the world, from Afghanistan to Africa to Columbia. Read more information from the Red Cross about the subject – Dutch only.

Na twee edities is Music For Life uitgegroeid tot één van de bekendste goede-doel-acties in Vlaanderen, met brede steun, sympathie en veel spontane acties en initiatieven.
